Employee Recognition

Deeanna Villeneuve, LNA

Outstanding employees deserve to be recognized both as a reward for exceptional performance and as a model to other employees.

Deeanna has been an employee of CCNH since August of 2022.  She was nominated by her co-workers because she is very sweet and caring.  She was described as loving and compassionate to the residents and a nice person to everyone.  One co-worker stated, “She is a very sweet person and has all of the qualities to make a wonderful nurse.”  Another said, “She deserves to be recognized as a great employee and co-worker.”

Deeanna enjoys knowing that each and every day she is doing something that helps others.  Things that may seem small and insignificant to us, could make the day of a resident.  The things that she finds most challenging is remembering to take care of herself.  She said, “It is so easy to get caught up in the needs and wants of the residents, that sometimes my own are forgotten.”

She said that she has gained a lot of confidence in herself and her working abilities.  There is always someone around, whether it be a resident or co-worker, to recognize hard work.

Outside of work, Deeanna enjoys going for long car rides with her mother and sister.  She also enjoys card games like poker and cribbage.  One thing that may surprise us about Deeanna is that she has severe anxiety around crowds and people.  She said, “Working for CCNH has shown me that it is OK.  The residents and staff have supported me so much and helped me emerge from my shell.”

In five years, Deeanna would love to be continuing her career in the health field.  She hopes to work her way up the ladder and continue her education so she can gain more knowledge to help the people that can’t always help themselves.  “MNA, LPN, RN…here I come!”
